USDA, now transformed into USDP as political party, was established in 1993. The Union Solidarity and Development Association was formed and registered as a social organization with the Ministry of Home Affairs from 13 Sept 1993. It celebrated first anniversary in 1994. Myanmar Post issued single stamp for commemoration. Myanmar post issued an official FDC and Stamp Holder Card.
